Dear players using pimpled rubber,

In recent weeks, we have received an increasing number of reports and inquiries from players who have come across extremely cheap "Sauer & Tröger" rubbers on online marketplaces such as AliExpress, Temu, Wish, or similar platforms. We would like to officially clarify: These offers are not for genuine Sauer & Tröger products, but for counterfeit goods.

How can you recognize the fakes?

The counterfeit receipts are noticeable due to several characteristics:

• Unusually low price : Original Sauer & Tröger products have a fixed recommended retail price (RRP) that is comparable worldwide. Extremely low prices are a sure warning sign.

• Colors that don't officially exist : Our rubbers are only available in colors officially approved by the ITTF. Variants in unusual colors, as well as in colors not officially offered by us, are counterfeit.

• Missing or faulty packaging : Counterfeits often come without the high-quality original packaging or with poorly copied logos and labels.

What are the risks?

Buying counterfeit brake pads is not only annoying, but also risky:

• Inferior quality : The counterfeit products do not meet our high quality standards in any way. They are neither tested nor comparable to genuine products in terms of gameplay.

• Risk of injury : Poor workmanship can lead to material breakage or uncontrollable playing characteristics.

• Competition disqualification : Non-approved floor coverings may not be used in official matches. Players who do so risk suspensions or penalties.
